GB31: Wind Market

Flaming June FLL.png

In honour of such a hot and fiery June day, I picked the beautiful painting Flaming June by Sir Frederic Leighton to depict the acupuncture point GB31 (Gallbladder 31), which translates to Wind Market (Feng Shi).

This point describes its function of dispersing Wind in TCM.

This point is often used in treatments addressing allergies that causes itching, headaches, eye redness & swelling (hello spring!!), knee, leg & lower back pain, and potentially paralysis.

In terms of Cosmetic Rejuvenation, it addresses seasonal skin rashes, hives and redness.
