Classic Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient practice of inserting fine needles into specific points of the body in accordance to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory (TCM).

TCM theory holds a holistic perspective and takes the time to consider the full human experience in each case, and aims to treat the root cause of any concern, rather than just the symptoms.

It offers an array of solutions to physical and mental health concerns such as: Stress/anxiety, digestive issues, pain, musculoskeletal conditions, menopausal symptoms, TMJ, skin care concerns (anti-aging, wrinkles, acne), pre/postpartum support (fertility, morning sickness, labor prep, lactation, fatigue).

Acutonics

Acutonics is a form of vibrational therapy using tuning forks of various frequencies to treat a multitude of physical and psycho-emotional conditions. Studies have proven that vibration and sound can produce beneficial changes to autoimmune, endocrine and neuropeptide systems. Grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this therapeutic modality provides a non-invasive, needle-free option to acupuncture.

Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture

A cosmetic rejuvenation acupuncture treatment with me is a classic acupuncture treatment taken to the next level with a skincare focus. In addition to correct imbalances present in your body, it is also a safe procedure that encourages your body’s own immune response to produce new elastin fibres and collagen by causing micro-trauma with the insertion of needles.

This results in increased skin elasticity, firmness, reduced fine lines and a smoother complexion and overall texture in the long term.
Every treatment includes 2 additional modalities.

Fire Cupping

Fire heats the inside of a glass cup to create a negative suction force on the soft tissue of the body. It is a relaxing technique that releases adhesions in the fascia and muscles to promote lymphatic drainage. It is used for general muscle tension, sports injuries, or any musculoskeletal concerns.

Gua Sha / Facial Cupping

Gua sha is the ‘scraping’ of the face and neck to detox the skin, relax muscles, and contour the face. Facial cupping uses a negative force on the soft tissue to drain lymphatic fluid, release adhesions, and lift. These modalities are done gently to limit any after effects.

Herbal Therapy

Traditional Chinese herbal formulas can be prescribed to treat a variety of health conditions, maintain general wellness, and to support your life journey.

LED Light Therapy

LED Light therapy as skincare is the use of varying wavelengths of light (purple, red, blue, green) to reduce inflammation, treat acne, boost collagen production depending on your specific needs. Red light therapy is also used to enhance the acupuncture treatment to improve sleep. This is included in every cosmetic rejuvenation session.

Auricular Therapy

Based on the TCM theory, the outer ear is considered a microsystem or map of the body. Vaccaria seeds are taped to specific points on the ear to address a variety of health related conditions.

Micro-current Therapy

Micro-current therapy is the application of a mild electrical current to the skin to lift, tone and tighten the skin, while promoting lymphatic drainage, and stimulating collagen.
